Baltic Triennial of International Art "City Stories" 2009

Vilnius - European Capital of Culture 2009 and the Contemporary Art Center invites you to the X Baltic Triennial of International Art "City Stories" (mentors Ann Demeester and Kestutis Kuizinas) opening this Friday, 25 September

The project "City Stories" involving 80 artists from the 20 countries. Riga, nominated to be ECoC for 2014

Beside the already nominated Umea, the Latvian city of Riga will held the title of European Capital of Culture of the year 2014.

On the 11.09.2009 Umea was designed by the Sweedish commision to represent the country as ECoC in 2014.
Umea has outbid the other three competitors, Gavle, Norrkoping and Lund in this competition.

Also Riga has ended the process of application, outbiding two other cities : Cesis and Liepaja.

"52 Weeks. Film Marathon"
